Don’t make your relationship work, make it fun.

So often I hear people say "I’ve got to work on my relationship" Well I don’t know about you, but I don’t know too many people who like "work". Work is something you feel that you have to do but would rather not do and if you had a choice you would do something else.

On the other hand I have never heard anyone complain about having fun or playing a game. Change the words that you use and you will automatically change your behaviour because the words you use create pictures in your mind and your mind responds to those pictures.

How much "fun" is there in your relationship or have you allowed the influences and expectations of society take the fun out of your life? Are you focusing so hard on a clean and tidy house (got to impress the visitors) that you have lost sight of the really important issues and now have a messy relationship? What is really important, that you have done the dishes or that you spent time together.

Treat your relationship like a game realise that you are both on the same side and make it fun.
