 Living Your Best Life

It 'ain't' over till you quit

Life is a game and we, like it or not, are all members of the team.?? Now life is a participator sport not a spectator sport and you must play full out to win. Life demands participation but the game of life is not won by what possessions you obtain or what position you attain but by how you play, by what reputation you earn, by who you become, by what contribution you make, by what legacy you leave behind.

Too many people do not enjoy the game. They have no goal, no purpose therefore the game has no excitement no meaning for them. Every day becomes a dull monotonous repetition of the day before and they are dissatisfied and disillusioned, this is not how it should be.

Deep down inside each one of us is the desire to do something worthwhile to accomplish something that we can be proud of, but most of us are held prisoner by our own sense of incompetence. Our greatest opposition is in ourselves, in our own sense of inability. The problem is that if you don't believe you can, then you won't.

Whatever you want to do, do it, when you work to achieve a purpose, a worthwhile goal, an energy is created and you find that you are capable of so much more than you thought possible.

You will never grow old if you have a goal, a purpose to achieve. You will never grow old while you have the power to dream and to believe in your dreams.

Your physical age is not as important as your emotional age. I have known people to die of "old age" at 60. I know people who are in their 80's and still living an exciting, meaningful life.

Your physical limitations are not as important as your emotional limitations. There are people with tremendous physical limitations who have managed remarkable accomplishments, who lead a full life, who play full out, who contribute greatly and have a reputation that we envy. There are people with no noticeable physical limitations who have been overcome and beaten by the game of life. They have chosen to check out and become spectators.

I'll guarantee that you know people like these. Which of them would you rather be like. Think on this, only the players get to eat at life's table. The spectators have to wait at the door for the scraps that are thrown out.

With or without you the game of life goes on. You have an open invitation to join at any time and play what ever position that you choose. You determine your game, what you play and how you play it, but remember this "It 'ain't' over till you quit"

To live your best life be true to the YOU, that you want to be.

Live with passion. Change your life from making a living to making a difference.

Live up to the reputation that you want to have.
