To be a leader without management skills is a recipe for disaster/chaos.

To be a manager without leadership skills is a recipe for conflict.

People who feel good about themselves do good work.

People who get acknowledged for doing good work feel good about themselves.

There is a fundamental difference between

Management attitude and Leadership attitude,

It is a small difference but it makes all the difference. It is simply this:

Managers get people to do things.

Leaders get people to want to do things.
