Wealth has more to do with your state of mind than the state of your bank balance but the state of your bank balance has everything to do with your state of mind.

The problem with too many of us is that we have a negative state of mind. We don't believe that there are opportunities and if there are opportunities then we don't believe that we will get them.

I spoke to the teller as I was paying for my groceries. She was wearing a badge that said "Inspired since 2005" So I asked her what had changed in 2005 and what had changed since then. Her reply was neither complimentary nor encouraging. "In this place, nothing, my boss won't even give me time off to study."

Now this is where many of us are. We expect someone else to make it easy for us to improve ourselves, and then blame them because they won't support our dreams. Wrong strategy. Here's how you improve your wealth state.

1. Develop an attitude of gratitude. Be grateful for the things that you have. Be grateful for the job that you have. Just imagine what would happen to you if you did not have it.

2. Learn as much as you can about the business that you are in. Learn about your job. Learn about other peoples jobs. Looks for ways to do it better.

3. Learn to spell positively. Some people take the letters NOWHERE to mean No Where when it comes to opportunities. You change that to Now Here and watch your life change.
