What is it about you?

I stare at your photo next to my bed

and wonder at the images

that flood thru my head.

What is it about you that stirs me so?

Why is it that when you're not here

my tears want to flow?

Is it your smile,

or the softness of your eyes?

What is it that causes my emotions to rise?

Well I've checked it out

and I think this is true.

What stirs me so is the mystery of you.
