I feel like I'm not in control of my life and there are decision s that I need to make, but how will I know that this are right decisions.

I'm just tired of all the pain and I try to be happy and cope with them but its so hard and it's always when one goes wrong everything goes wrong.

Decisions, often the cause of greatest stress in our lives are these things called decisions. We are always making them because even the decision not to make a decision is a decision, but how to make the right decision?

You can never know at the time if you are making the right decision or not only the result of the decision will tell you that. In any moment of decision you must try to make the best choice possible. Try the following questions they might help.

1. Always start with your character, what kind of person do you want to be, (remember the perfect person exercise)? How do you want to feel about yourself? How do you want others to think about you? What reputation do you want to have?

2. Is how you want to feel about yourself in line with the reputation that you want? How will you feel about yourself if you get the reputation that you say you want?

3. Is your behaviour now going to get you the reputation that you want?

4. How do you feel about yourself in what you are doing right now?

5. The decision that you have to make, how will you feel about yourself once you have made the decision? Why? Is that the way that you want to feel about yourself?

6. How will this decision affect your reputation? Why? Is it important? Why?

7. If you are worried or bothered by something try this 6 question "Worry Buster"

a. How do I feel? Describe your emotions as accurately as you can, i.e. sad, angry, hurt

b. What is causing me to feel this way? Describe the actual events or circumstances that you are experiencing, stick to "what is" not "what you think" it is. i.e don't say "Life Sucks" describe what is happening that causes you to think that life sucks.

c. How would I prefer to feel? Describe your desired state, i.e. confident, happy, calm

d. What needs to change? Describe the situation that you would prefer to experience, then compare it to what you are now experiencing and identify the areas that need changing.

e. What is in my control? Identify what it is that you can do to create the situation that you want.

f. What will or can stop me from taking action now?

Then just get started, remember this, you will always regret the things that you did not do more than the things that you did do.
