I record virtually every presentation that I make and there is a very good reason for this. One of my philosophies is that "whatever I can do, I can do better" so there is a very strong drive in me to continuously improve my performance, to do that I listen to, and watch my presentations to identify ways to improve my performance.

Another reason is that I get flashes of inspiration in the passion of the moment. Some of my really powerful breakthroughs in understanding and explaining principles have come to me in the middle of a presentation. By recording the presentation I capture those moments and then formalise them into the next presentations.

From a marketing point of view it allows you to evaluate my performance before laying out your cash. Even though I offer a "Customer Satisfaction Guarantee" there is not much worse than having a poor presentation ruin your function.

While I get really great feedback from my delegates and I really appreciate this, another of my favourite sayings is "a pat on the back has the effect of filling the tank of enthusiasm" the best feedback that I get is when I am invited back. (You know that there are some people that you only take to a place twice, the second time to apologise for having taken them there the first time) Well, I always do my best to always make a good impression and I have many satisfied customers who will attest to this.
